Roland Emmerich, who directed Day After Tomorrow, was born in Germany. He's 53 years old (November 10, 1955) and has directed many movies. Some of his most famous movies, were: Independece Day, The Patriot, American Revolutionary War, 10,000 B.C and Day After Tomorrow. He's now working on a new movie called "2012" which is based on the Mayan calender and how the world's North and South Poles are supposed to realign.
