Following Jigsaw's death, Mark Hoffman is the final apprentice to the serial killer while being a feign (fake) hero. Meanwhile, Agent Strahm is tested in a game and finds a way out. Strahm realizes that Hoffman is helping Jigsaw, and during this time, five seemingly unconnected people face a horrible lesson about teamwork.

Strahm figures out everything about Hoffman, including the death of his sister and why he joined Jigsaw and his games. Hoffman and Strahm meet face to face and it all boils down to a gruesome
and bone-crushing finale.
