Based on actual events in the late eighteen-hundreds, it's a great movie that I recommend to all who are into action/adventure movies. Its scenery is breathtaking, the battle scenes are amazing, and the music ties it all in. The way they show the "Way of the Samurai" or Bushido, is nicely done in this movie. You get a really good grip on the beliefs and actions of the Samurai. It has a little bit of everything that one would want in a movie, along with action it also has a bit of romance. Although some of the historical events and clothing don't exactly match up with what actually happened in that time era, it doesn't at all effect the movie. All in all I personally give it a 5 out of 5.
