Welcome to P.E. 1.

We have 6 sport/activity units to cover in a semester: soccer, track, basketball, square-dance, self-defense, and volleyball. Each unit is about 3 weeks in length. All activities cover basic skills, rules and strategy for that unit.

Each activity has worksheets and tests that apply what we learn in classroom.

Tuesdays and Thursdays are fitness activity day. We will work on the health related and skill related components of fitness.

Physical Fitness testing will be done 2 times during the semester. Students are sure to see improvement in their fitness scores!

Each Wednesday will be a classroom day. We use the book, Fitness for Life. You can access activities from the text at :fitnessforlife.org. Assignments will be done in class and at home.

Grading consists of a combination of activity, fitness scores, and classroom work.
