Junior and Senior PE options: PE-Team, PE-Individual, Physical Best, Fit for Life. PE Leaders and Food and Fitness is offered one semester only.

Welcome to P.E. 3/4. Students will choose either the entire Team or Individual Block of activities.

The Team Block includes sport/activity units to cover in the year: softball, soccer, flag football, basketball, floor hockey, bowling*, Tseg ball, eclipse ball, and volleyball. The Individual Block includes 9 activities: Golf, Badminton, Archery, Tseg Ball, Cross Country Skiing/ Ping Pong, Bowling*, Disc Golf and Orienteering. Each unit is about 3 weeks in length. All activities cover basic skills, rules and strategy for that unit. Each activity has worksheets and tests that apply the skills and knowledge acquired in the gym or field.

Every Tuesday and Thursday are fitness activity days. We will work on the health related and skill related components of fitness. Physical Fitness testing will be done two times during each semester. Students are sure to see improvement in their fitness scores!

By the end of the year, all junior and senior students will have a final project. For example, each student may design a personal fitness plan. Students will also be asked to read various fitness related articles.

Grading consists of a combination of activity, fitness scores, and written work.

*Bowling fee is $25 to cover transportation and the bowling fee.
