Comedy
production runs through Saturday

| The
comedy "Get Bill Shakespeare Off the Stage" runs through
Saturday in the ACHS auditorium. |
Anyone
who has struggled to understand William Shakespeare should appreciate the
humor in “Get Bill Shakespeare Off the Stage,” which opened
Thursday night in the ACHS auditorium.
In the play, a group
of high school students decides to sabotage the fall drama production of
selected Shakespeare scenes by staging a spoof of the playwright.
Kaitlen Quist plays
Fran, the school’s new drama teacher, and Niko Jefferson plays Ed,
the basketball coach.
First-time director
Dan Swartz held a sneak preview of the production Wednesday night for ACHS
faculty members. He is aided by assistant director Ryan Walker and stage
manager Mike Patrick. The play officially opened Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and
runs through Saturday. Tickets are $2 for both adults and students. |
