Spring
musical production aims for success
 The
curtain goes up this week on the musical-comedy “How To Succeed
In Business Without Really Trying,” with shows at 7 p.m. on Thursday
through Saturday.
Directed by Amber
Fox, with musical direction by Keith Cox, the play is a clever story about
working in a large corporation. From the mailroom through the secretaries
and the “Big Boss,” a young window washer works his way up
the corporate ladder with the instructions from a ludicrous book.
Brendan Madden,
Kelsie Hartl, Kevin Budd, Grade Eidmann, Joe Barlow and Hannah Hagert
fill the lead roles in just the second musical produced at ACHS in many
years. The cast, crew and orchestra account for 45 students, which Fox
said is one of the things she likes about the show. The others are the
number of big dance numbers and the “humorous, quirky characters.”
Senior citizens
get a sneak peek at the production Wednesday night as part of student
council's Sharing Is Caring program, where dinner and door prizes precede
the show.
Tickets are $3
and can be purchased at the door. |
