Today is Wednesday, May 31, 2006 And these are your daily announcements: Attention all sophomores and juniors interested in parking on the ACHS lots next year. Please check your e-mail for the application which is due by June 1. A late fee of $25 will be charged after that date. Please turn in your applications to Mr. Borrero in the Deans office – applications only, no money at this time. Sophomore and Juniors: You can make a BIG difference at ACHS. Sign up to be a Student Advisor next year! Please see one of the current Advisors or Ms. Corcoran ASAP -- Student Advisors must have 6th hour free next year. This service opportunity counts towards NHS hours! Be a leader -- help our incoming Freshmen become a great part of ACHS! In Chicago, the phrase "vote early and vote often" is common. At ACHS, the phrase is "go high tech and vote online!!" All current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors can cast their ballots for class officers online. Go through your school email account to "Student News" file. Open the email with the subject heading "class officer voting." Choose the candidates you would like to see lead your class for the 2006-2007 school year. You can only vote from a school computer, so don't try this at home. Results will be announced next week. If you’ve lost anything this semester, now is the time to check the Lost & Found. Stop in the Attendance Office today......if you wait....it may be too late! Everything left unclaimed will be donated at semester's end. Also.....as the end of this school year nears.......remember to have your locker emptied out by the end of the day, June 5th AND remember to take your lock home with you over the summer. Anything left in your locker after June 5th will be donated to charity. SPORTS Any boys interested in playing soccer next fall please sign up in room 219 with Mr. Trout. The new head coach will contact you this summer. Attention all Varsity and JV Boys Tennis Players. Please turn in your tennis warm-ups to Coach Stanley in Room 106 TODAY.
