Songs
In the past,
schools had two songs, one to symbolize loyalty and one for school spirit. In
1935 two faculty members, Hans von Holwede and Cornelia Roberts, wrote the loyalty
song (below).

Hans von Holwede
also wrote the original fight song, which was used until 1971:
Fighting
Sequoits
Were the
fight, fight, fighting Sequoits
Were the Cardinal and the Gray
Were the fight, fight, fighting Sequoits
From Antioch High, hurray!
Well fight opponents just for fun
And scalp our victims one by one
Were the fight, fight, fighting Sequoits
Were the Cardinal and the Gray
Since
1971 the University of Wisconsin fight song music has been used, with the lyrics
edited to include the ACHS nickname and school colors. Click the start button

Fight Song
On you Sequoits,
On you Sequoits!
Come on team lets go!
And well bring home vic-to-ry for,
The team we love to show!
Uh-Rah-Rah!
Were right for you. Well fight for you,
To protect your name.
So on Sequoits, on to vic-to-ry and to fame.
Go Sequoits! Go!
Fight Sequoits! Fight!
Win! Win! Win!
Go on Sequoits!
Fight you Sequoits!
Win for Antioch High!
We will bring home victories for the cardinal and the gray!
Uh-Rah-Rah!
Go you Sequoits! Score a victory!
Win you Sequoits! Win!
Fight! Fight for victory
Over the years, several school
yells have also been used at athletic events and assemblies:
